Things to do in Chiang Mai

Some of the best days here are spent outside town. This covers temples, markets and parks in the city, plus waterfalls, viewpoints, farms, national parks and adventure tours out in Mae Rim, Mae Taeng and Doi Inthanon. There are skate and bike parks too. For anything in the hills, start early and check whether you need to book.
