Progression Vertical Climbing Gym

Nong Hoi South · South (Nong Hoi / Saraphi road)

About

Progression is Chiang Mai's main roped climbing gym, in Pa Daet south of the Old City, run by the team behind the long-running Chiang Mai Rock Climbing Adventures (CMRCA), who now operate under the Progression name. Inside there's bouldering plus top-rope and lead walls, a kids' area and programmes, and courses for beginners. The same outfit guides trips to the outdoor crag at Crazy Horse Buttress, so it's a good first stop if you want to climb outside. A day pass is cheap, and monthly membership is fair value if you're staying a while.
