Ban Puean (Friend's House) is a small Thai bar and restaurant in Nong Phueng, south-east of the city past the Mahidol Road ring. It's informal and friendly, the kind of place people from the neighbourhood drop into after work. It opens in the evening, with Thai food and drinks. It's not a destination, but it's worth knowing if you're staying nearby. Don't confuse it with the Ban Puean bar on Nimman Soi 7.
