About
This pin marks Doi Pui, at 1,685 m the highest point in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, a few kilometres beyond Bhubing Palace. The walk starts at the Doi Pui campsite, which has parking, food and tents for hire, and follows a forest trail of roughly 1.2–1.6 km to the top, about 30–40 minutes uphill. Be warned that the summit itself is mostly a marker in the trees; hikers who want a view carry on towards Doi Hua Mot. It's a cool, shady escape from the city when Doi Suthep is packed. Check access first, since the trail closes in the rainy season.
