About
Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden is the big state botanic garden in the Mae Sa valley in Mae Rim, opened in 1993 as the Mae Sa Botanic Garden and renamed for the Queen a year later. The highlight for most people is the canopy walkway, roughly 400 m long and about 20 m up in the trees, which is included in the entry ticket. Around it are gardens and forest to wander. It's a good stop if you're doing the Mae Sa valley loop anyway, and somewhere greener and cooler than the city. You'll want a car or scooter to get there.
