About
The Ironwood is a garden restaurant, café and small stay off the Mae Rim–Samoeng road, set among big trees, greenhouses and rustic buildings full of art and antiques. The food is Thai and fusion with good vegetarian options; the fern salad and crispy salt-and-chilli tofu get mentioned again and again. It had a MICHELIN Guide listing a few years ago. The access lane is rough, especially in the rainy season, but the grounds are worth it.
