DB SLOT Coffee Roasters

DB SLOT is a plant-filled roastery café in Mae Raem, Mae Rim, on the road out towards Mae Sa and Pai. The owner roasts a range of beans on site and runs basic barista courses, while his partner handles the kitchen and baking. That pairing shows: the coffee is serious, and the shio pan (salted butter roll) and scones get as much love as the espresso. There's proper food too, from salads to pasta. It costs a bit more than most, but it's a very good stop on the way north.
