Despite the Vientiane name, the menu is Vietnamese: beef pho, nem nuong pork rolls, banh cuon steamed rice rolls and crispy shrimp crêpes. It's a casual, inexpensive place to pair with a morning at the market. It serves lunch and dinner with a break in the afternoon, and it's closed on Mondays.
