Tha Chang Cafe is a big local bar and club on Rattanakosin Road, north-east of the Old City, and a favourite with students and young Thais. There are DJs and live music, dancing, and both indoor and outdoor seating. Time Out lists it among the city's clubs. You'll see few tourists, which is the point.
