About
Carrot Coffee is a converted two-storey house on a back street in the south of the Old City, a short walk from the moat. Downstairs is bare concrete and good for laptops. Upstairs is warmer, with armchairs and sofas, and out back is a small Japanese-style gravel courtyard. As the name suggests, carrots run through the menu: carrot lattes and cold brew, cold-pressed carrot juices and a very good carrot cake. There's a normal espresso list too, plus all-day toasted sandwiches. I'd go for the cake.
