The 1892 Bar is the bar at Aleenta Retreat, set in a restored golden-teak house in the lanes of Suthep near Wat Umong. It serves signature cocktails, Thai spirits and bar snacks to live piano music. It's quiet, grown-up and a little special, the kind of place for a slow drink and a conversation rather than a big night. Non-guests can come too. Note that hours differ between listings.
