Kiti Panit is a Lanna restaurant on Tha Phae Road in a restored old general store, and it's listed in the MICHELIN Guide. The cooking is northern Thai done with care: hang lay pork curry, stir-fried beef with makwaen pepper and pak kad jor, with a drinks menu to match. It's a great place to take visitors for a proper northern meal. It closes between lunch and dinner and on Tuesdays, and booking is wise.
