Wild Coffee & Bistro

Wild Coffee & Bistro, also called Wild Garden, sits at the foot of Doi Suthep, about 2 km north of the university. You walk through carved Indian-style doors, past a fish pond and an air-conditioned dining room, out to a terrace built in tiers over a jungle stream and small waterfall. The kitchen does proper Thai and Western food: khao soi, massaman with roti, salads, pizza and pasta, along with espresso and juices. Service can be slow, and the spiral stairs are steep. I'd come for a long lunch.
