Bannok Coffee Roasters

Bannok is a countryside roastery near Hang Dong on route 1269, and its best feature is the large outdoor seating area on the river. Some picnic tables sit right in the shallow stream, so you can cool your feet while you drink. It also has chickens you can feed for 20 baht, which kids love. They roast on site and sell beans by the kilo, and the drinks are cheap. The menu runs to tea, cakes and Thai dishes, plus beer. Cycling and big-bike groups often stop here.
