MAI is the rooftop bar on the 22nd floor of the Meliá hotel on Charoen Prathet Road, near the river and the Night Bazaar. It's one of the highest bars in town, with 360-degree views, cocktails and tapas. Come for sunset: get there early for a west-facing seat looking towards Doi Suthep. Prices are hotel prices, but you're paying for the view, and it's worth it once.
