Kao Mai Lanna Restaurant

This is the restaurant at Kaomai Lanna, a resort in San Pa Tong about 30 km south of the city, built around a cluster of old red-brick tobacco-curing barns. The restaurant, Poliang Bistro, sits inside the restored barns and cooks northern Thai and fusion dishes with local produce. The grounds also hold Cafe Rong Bom in a twin barn and a tea room. It's a good lunch stop on a trip south toward Doi Inthanon, and the barns are worth a wander.
