Imagine House Cafe 2016

Imagine's House is a rice-field restaurant and music spot near Mae Jo, north of the city, reached down a narrow lane. It belongs to Thai singer Boy Imagine, who often plays live in the evening, around 8pm. It's self-service: order and pay at the counter. The Thai menu goes beyond the usual dishes, there's an English menu if you ask, and plenty of cats wander about. It gets busy from early evening, especially at weekends. It's a lovely night out if you have a car.
