Baan Suan is a garden café beside a stream in Mae Hia, about a kilometre from Wat Phra That Doi Kham. It serves coffee, tea and desserts along with simple Thai food, and vegetarians are well looked after. Pad thai, chicken krapao, roti with crispy prawns and coconut cake are the dishes people recommend. It's a calm place to sit by the water after the temple, open daytime only.
