Sorasora is a small, quiet Japanese-style cake café on Singharat Road, a few minutes' walk from Wat Phra Singh. The cakes are homemade and the coconut cake is the one people rave about, packed with real coconut meat. There are also strawberry, matcha and caramel banana cakes, a peach tea with real fruit, and properly strong coffee. You can even decorate your own cake, and it's pet-friendly. It's simple and local rather than fancy, so I'd stop in for cake while walking the Old City.
