Khem Saad' Cafe

Khem Saad' is a small neighbourhood café in Ban Waen, Hang Dong, and it does more than the name suggests. Alongside coffee in a choice of roast levels there's a proper drinks menu of frappes and sodas, plus simple food all day: sandwiches, toast, noodles and pasta, with breakfast from 7am. It's the sort of place locals use as a regular stop rather than a destination, which is exactly why I like it. Prices sit around 100–200 baht a head, and it's kid-friendly, with toys inside and a couple of resident cats.
