Chouquette is a French bakery started in Chiang Mai by Eric Gobert, who ran bakeries in the French Alps from 1986 before moving here. This Mae Hia branch is one of three in town, with the same breads, pastries and set breakfasts as the original. Good picks are the croissants, almond croissants, éclairs, quiche and the croissant sandwiches. When a tray comes out of the oven, I'd just order whatever's on it. Prices are fair for the quality, and it's an easy stop on the Mae Hia/Royal Park Rajapruek side.
