About
Banta is a family-run garden café in San Phak Wan, Hang Dong, tucked by the road next to Ban Pa Tan school. Its regulars are loyal, and I understand why: good coffee with a choice of dark or medium roast, a small daily batch of fresh pastries, and a calm garden full of plants and birds. Mochas made with dark cacao get special mentions. It fills up on weekend mornings, so go early on a Saturday or Sunday, and remember it shuts mid-afternoon.
